Chapter 73: Kabandha Requests Śrī Rāma to Visit Śabarī
Text 3.73.40
तस्या गुहायाः प्राग्द्वारे महाञ्शीतोदको ह्रदः।
फलमूलान्वितो रम्यो नानामृगसमावृतः॥
tasyā guhāyāḥ prāg-dvāre mahāñ śītodako hradaḥ
phala-mūlānvito ramyo nānā-mṛga-samāvṛtaḥ
tasyāḥ = the; guhāyāḥ = of cave; prāk-dvāre = on the eastern entrance; mahān = is a large; śīta-udakaḥ = its water is cool; hradaḥ = lake; phala-mūla-anvitaḥ = there are fruits and roots on its banks; ramyaḥ = and pleasant; nānā-mṛga-samāvṛtaḥ = it is surrounded by several deer.
