Chapter 73: Kabandha Requests Śrī Rāma to Visit Śabarī
Text 3.73.41
तस्यां वसति सुग्रीवश्चतुर्भिः सह वानरैः।
कदाचिच्छिखरे तस्य पर्वतस्यावतिष्ठते॥
tasyāṁ vasati sugrīvaś caturbhiḥ saha vānaraiḥ
kadācic chikhare tasya parvatasyāvatiṣṭhate
tasyām = inside that [cave]; vasati = lives; sugrīvaḥ = Sugrīva; caturbhiḥ = four; saha = with; vānaraiḥ = monkeys; kadācit = sometimes; śikhare = on the peak; tasya = that; parvatasya = of mountain; avatiṣṭhate = he stands.
Sugrīva lives inside that [cave] with four monkeys. Sometimes he stands on the peak of that mountain.
It is obvious that [at other times] Sugrīva stands on the ground [at the bottom of the hill].
