Chapter 74: Lord Rāma Visits Śabarī
Text 3.74.32

इत्युक्ता जटिला वृद्धा चीरकृष्णाजिनाम्बरा।
तस्मिन्मुहूर्ते शबरी देहं जीर्णं जिहासती॥

ity uktā jaṭilā vṛddhā cīra-kṛṣṇājināmbarā
tasmin muhūrte śabarī dehaṁ jīrṇaṁ jihāsatī

iti = this; uktā = [when He] told her; jaṭilā = whose hair was matted; vṛddhā = who was elderly; cīra-kṛṣṇa-ajina-ambarā = and who wore clothes of bark and deerskin; tasmin = at that [very]; muhūrte = moment; śabarī = Śabarī; deham = her body; jīrṇam = old; jihāsatī = desired to give up.

[When He] told her this, Śabarī who was elderly, whose hair was matted and who wore clothes of bark and deerskin, desired to give up her old body at that [very] moment.
