Chapter 5: Vasiṣṭha Prepares Rāma for the Coronation
Text 2.5.13
सुहृद्भिस्तत्र रामोऽपि सहासीनः प्रियंवदैः।
सभाजितो विवेशाथ ताननुज्ञाप्य सर्वशः॥
suhṛdbhis tatra rāmo ’pi sahāsīnaḥ priyaṁvadaiḥ
sabhājito viveśātha tān anujñāpya sarvaśaḥ
suhṛdbhiḥ = His well-wishers; tatra = there; rāmaḥ = Rāma; api = then; saha = with; āsīnaḥ = sat; priyam-vadaiḥ = with pleasant words; sabhājitaḥ = who praised Him; viveśa = He entered [His home]; atha = then; tān = of them; anujñāpya = with the permission; sarvaśaḥ = of all.
Rāma then sat there with His well-wishers who praised Him with pleasant words. Then, with the permission of all of them, He entered [His home].
