Chapter 5: Vasiṣṭha Prepares Rāma for the Coronation
Text 2.5.16
वृन्दवृन्दैरयोध्यायां राजमार्गाः समन्ततः।
बभूवुरभिसम्बाधाः कुतूहलजनैर्वृताः॥
vṛnda-vṛndair ayodhyāyāṁ rāja-mārgāḥ samantataḥ
babhūvur abhisambādhāḥ kutūhala-janair vṛtāḥ
vṛnda-vṛndaiḥ = with throngs; ayodhyāyām = of Ayodhyā; rāja-mārgāḥ = the grand roads; samantataḥ = on all sides; babhūvuḥ = were; abhisambādhāḥ = heavily crowded; kutūhala-janaiḥ = of excited crowds; vṛtāḥ = filled.
The grand roads of Ayodhyā were heavily crowded on all sides, filled with throngs of excited crowds.

Sometimes vṛnda-vṛndam is seen instead of vṛnda-vṛndaiḥ. [The meaning is the same.]
