Chapter 9: Kaikeyī Convinced by Mantharā

मयोच्यमानं यदि ते श्रोतुं छन्दो विलासिनि।
श्रूयतामभिधास्यामि श्रुत्वा चापि विमृश्यताम्॥
mayocyamānaṁ yadi te śrotuṁ chando vilāsini
śrūyatām abhidhāsyāmi śrutvā cāpi vimṛśyatām
mayā = that which I have; ucyamānam = been telling [you]; yadi = if; te = you; śrotum = to hear; chandaḥ = want 2; vilāsini = charming woman; śrūyatām = listen; abhidhāsyāmi = I will speak; śrutvā = listen; ca api = and; vimṛśyatām = think.
Charming woman, if you want to hear that which I have been telling [you], listen. I will speak. Listen and think.
