Chapter 9: Kaikeyī Convinced by Mantharā
Text 2.9.47
अत्र ते प्रतिमोक्ष्यामि मालां कुब्जे हिरण्मयीम्।
अभिषिक्ते च भरते राघवे च वनं गते॥
atra te pratimokṣyāmi mālāṁ kubje hiraṇmayīm
abhiṣikte ca bharate rāghave ca vanaṁ gate
atra = when; te = you; pratimokṣyāmi = I will give; mālām = necklace; kubje = O hunchback; hiraṇmayīm = a golden; abhiṣikte ca = has been coronated; bharate = Bharata; rāghave = Rāghava; ca = and; vanam = to the forest; gate = has gone.
O hunchback, I will give you a golden necklace when Bharata has been coronated and Rāghava has gone to the forest.
