Chapter 10: Daśaratha Meets Kaikeyī
Text 2.10.31
सन्ति मे कुशला वैद्यास्त्वभितुष्टाश्च सर्वशः।
सुखितां त्वां करिष्यन्ति व्याधिमाचक्ष्व भामिनि॥
santi me kuśalā vaidyās tv abhituṣṭāś ca sarvaśaḥ
sukhitāṁ tvāṁ kariṣyanti vyādhim ācakṣva bhāmini
santi me = I have; kuśalāḥ = expert; vaidyāḥ tu = physicians; abhituṣṭāḥ ca = are satisfied by my charity, honor and so on; sarvaśaḥ = all of whom; sukhitām = happy; tvām = you; kariṣyanti = they will make; vyādhim = about your sickness; ācakṣva = tell me; bhāmini = O beautiful lady.
I have expert physicians, all of whom are satisfied by my charity, honor and so on. O beautiful lady, they will make you happy. Tell me about your sickness.
This is how Daśaratha deals with the situation in case Kaikeyī is sick.
