Chapter 11: Kaikeyī Demands two Boons

अवलिप्ते न जानासि त्वत्तः प्रियतमा मम।
मनुजो मनुजव्याघ्राद्रामादन्यो न विद्यते॥
avalipte na jānāsi tvattaḥ priyatamā mama
manujo manuja-vyāghrād rāmād anyo na vidyate
avalipte = proud woman; na = there is no; jānāsi = you know that; tvattaḥ = than you; priyatamā = wife dearer to me; mama = [dearer] to me; manujaḥ = man; manuja-vyāghrāt = than the tiger among men; rāmāt = Rāma; anyaḥ = other; na = no; vidyate = and that there is.
Proud woman, you know that there is no wife dearer to me than you and that there is no man other than the tiger among men Rāma [dearer] to me.
