Chapter 14: Daśaratha Grants Kaikeyī her two Boons
Text 2.14.33
तमुवाच महातेजाः सूतपुत्रं विशारदम्।
वसिष्ठः क्षिप्रमाचक्ष्व नृपतेर्मामिहागतम्॥
tam uvāca mahā-tejāḥ sūta-putraṁ viśāradam
vasiṣṭhaḥ kṣipram ācakṣva nṛpater mām ihāgatam
tam = the; uvāca = told; mahā-tejāḥ = the greatly powerful; sūta-putram = a son of a sūta; viśāradam = experienced Sumantra; vasiṣṭhaḥ = Vasiṣṭha; kṣipram = quickly; ācakṣva = inform; nṛpateḥ = the king; mām = that I; iha = here; āgatam = have arrived.
The greatly powerful Vasiṣṭha told the experienced Sumantra, a son of a sūta, “Quickly inform the king that I have arrived here.”
