Chapter 25: Kausalyā Invokes Auspiciousness for Rāma
Text 2.25.12
याश्चापि सर्वतः सिद्धाःदिशश्च सदिगीश्वराः।
स्तुता मया वने तस्मिन्पान्तु त्वां पुत्र नित्यशः॥
yāś cāpi sarvataḥ siddhāḥ diśaś ca sadig-īśvarāḥ
stutā mayā vane tasmin pāntu tvāṁ putra nityaśaḥ
yāḥ = the; ca api = and; sarvataḥ = everywhere; siddhāḥ = who are famous; diśaḥ ca = the directions; sadik-īśvarāḥ = and their predominating deities; stutāḥ = and praised; mayā = by me; vane = forest; tasmin = in the; pāntu = may protect; tvām = You; putra = my son; nityaśaḥ = always.
My son, and may the directions and their predominating deities, who are famous everywhere and praised by me, always protect You in that forest!
