Chapter 25: Kausalyā Invokes Auspiciousness for Rāma
Text 2.25.42

प्रनष्टदुःखसङ्कल्पा हर्षविद्योतितानना।
द्रक्ष्यामि त्वां वनात्प्राप्तं पूर्णचन्द्रमिवोदितम्॥

pranaṣṭa-duḥkha-saṅkalpā harṣa-vidyotitānanā
drakṣyāmi tvāṁ vanāt prāptaṁ pūrṇa-candram ivoditam

pranaṣṭa-duḥkha-saṅkalpā = my distressed thoughts will be destroyed; harṣa-vidyotita-ānanā = and my face will radiate delight; drakṣyāmi = I shall see; tvām = You; vanāt = from the forest; prāptam = when You come; pūrṇa-candram = the full moon; iva = like; uditam = rising.

“I shall see You when You come from the forest, rising like the full moon. My distressed thoughts will be destroyed and my face will radiate delight.

Kausalyā was distressed thinking, “What will happen to Rāma in the forest?”
