Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 27: Sītā Requests Rāma to Take Her to the Forest
Text 2.27.11

अहं दुर्गं गमिष्यामि वनं पुरुषवर्जितम्।
नानामृगगणाकीर्णं शार्दूलवृकसेवितम्॥

ahaṁ durgaṁ gamiṣyāmi vanaṁ puruṣa-varjitam
nānā-mṛga-gaṇākīrṇaṁ śārdūla-vṛka-sevitam

aham = I; durgam = even if it is impassable; gamiṣyāmi = will go; vanam = to the forest; puruṣa-varjitam = devoid of men; nānā-mṛga-gaṇa-ākīrṇam = crowded with many beasts; śārdūla-vṛka-sevitam = and resorted to by tigers and wolves.

I will go to the forest even if it is impassable, devoid of men, crowded with many beasts and resorted to by tigers and wolves.

This is the conclusion of her advice.

But won’t this land her in distress? In response to this thought, Sītā-devī states the next verse.
