Chapter 32: Rāma Gives Away His Wealth Before Departing
Text 2.32.33
भृग्वङ्गिरसमं दीप्त्या त्रिजटं जनसंसदि। आ पञ्चमायाः कक्ष्यायाः नैनं कश्चिदवारयत्॥
bhṛgv-aṅgira-samaṁ dīptyā trijaṭaṁ jana-saṁsadi ā pañcamāyāḥ kakṣyāyāḥ nainaṁ kaścid avārayat
bhṛgu-aṅgira-samam = who was equal to Bhṛgu and Aṅgirā; dīptyā = in effulgence; trijaṭam = Trijaṭa; jana-saṁsadi = in the midst of the crowds; ā = till; pañcamāyāḥ = [he reached] the fifth; kakṣyāyāḥ = enclosure [of Rāma’s residence]; na = nobody; enam kaścit avārayat1 = prevented.
In the midst of the crowds, nobody prevented Trijaṭa, who was equal to Bhṛgu and Aṅgirā in effulgence, till [he reached] the fifth enclosure [of Rāma’s residence].
