Chapter 35: Furious Sumantra Criticizes Kaikeyī
Text 2.35.12
अयोध्यावासिनः पौराये च जानपदा जनाः।
नूनं सर्वे गमिष्यामो मार्गं रामनिषेवितम्॥
ayodhyāvāsinaḥ paurā ye ca jānapadā janāḥ
nūnaṁ sarve gamiṣyāmo mārgaṁ rāma-niṣevitam
ayodhyāvāsinaḥ paurāḥ ye = those who live in the city of Ayodhyā; ca = and; jānapadāḥ = living in the countryside; janāḥ = the people; nūnam sarve = all of us; gamiṣyāmaḥ = will go; mārgam = by the path; rāma-niṣevitam = taken up by Rāma.
All of us—those who live in the city of Ayodhyā and the people living in the countryside—will go by the path taken up by Rāma.
