Chapter 36: Kaikeyī Forbids the King from Sending Wealth With Rāma
Text 2.36.4

ये चैनमुपजीवन्ति रमते यैश्च वीर्यतः।
तेषां बहुविधं दत्त्वा तानप्यत्र नियोजय॥

ye cainam upajīvanti ramate yaiś ca vīryataḥ
teṣāṁ bahu-vidhaṁ dattvā tān apy atra niyojaya

ye ca = who; enam = on Rāma; upajīvanti = subsist; ramate = He becomes happy; yaiḥ = by whose; ca = and; vīryataḥ = prowess; teṣām = to those; bahu-vidham = of various kinds; dattvā = give charity and; tān = them; api = too; atra = with this army; niyojaya = send.

Give charity of various kinds to those who subsist on Rāma and by whose prowess He becomes happy. Send them too with this army.

“Charity of various kinds” refers to charity of gold, jewels, clothes and so on.
