ज्ञानवृद्धो वयोबालो मृदुर्वीर्यगुणान्वितः।
अनुरूपः स वो भर्ता भविष्यति भयापहः॥
jñāna-vṛddho vayo-bālo mṛdur vīrya-guṇānvitaḥ
anurūpaḥ sa vo bhartā bhaviṣyati bhayāpahaḥ
jñāna-vṛddhaḥ = He is old by knowledge, understanding and realization; vayaḥ-bālaḥ = [though] young by age; mṛduḥ = [though] mild; vīrya-guṇa-anvitaḥ = He is filled with the attribute of heroism; anurūpaḥ = the appropriate; saḥ = He; vaḥ = for you; bhartā = maintainer; bhaviṣyati = will be; bhaya-apahaḥ = and remove your fears.
[Though] young by age, He is old by knowledge, understanding and realization.1 [Though] mild, He is filled with the attribute of heroism. He will be the appropriate maintainer for you and remove your fears.
