Chapter 75: Bharata’s Conversation with Kausalyā-devī
Text 2.75.15
इदं हि तव विस्तीर्णं धनधान्यसमाचितम्।
हस्त्यश्वरथसम्पूर्णं राज्यं निर्यातितं तया॥
idaṁ hi tava vistīrṇaṁ dhana-dhānya-samācitam
hasty-aśva-ratha-sampūrṇaṁ rājyaṁ niryātitaṁ tayā
idam = this; hi = after all; tava = You; vistīrṇam = extensive; dhana-dhānya-samācitam = spread over with wealth and grains; hasti-aśva-ratha-sampūrṇam = and filled with elephants, horses and chariots; rājyam = kingdom; niryātitam = has made [the king] give 1; tayā = she.
After all, she has made [the king] give You this extensive kingdom spread over with wealth and grains and filled with elephants, horses and chariots.
