तेषां गुप्तिपरीहारैः कच्चित्ते भरणं कृतम्।
रक्ष्या हि राज्ञा धर्मेण सर्वे विषयवासिनः॥
teṣāṁ gupti-parīhāraiḥ kaccit te bharaṇaṁ kṛtam
rakṣyā hi rājñā dharmeṇa sarve viṣayavāsinaḥ
teṣām = them; gupti-parīhāraiḥ = by providing the desirable and preventing the undesirable; kaccit = do You; bharaṇam kṛtam = You nourish; rakṣyāḥ hi = are to be taken care of and protected; rājñā = by their king; dharmeṇa = in accordance with Vedic dharma; sarve = all; viṣayavāsinaḥ = residents of a kingdom.
Do You nourish them by providing the desirable and preventing the undesirable? All residents of a kingdom are to be taken care of and protected by their king in accordance with Vedic dharma.
