Chapter 102: Rāma Performs Śrāddha for King Daśaratha
Text 2.102.16
ततो बहुगुणं तेषां बाष्पं नेत्रेष्वजायत।
तथा ब्रुवति काकुत्स्थे कुमाराणां यशस्विनाम्॥
tato bahu-guṇaṁ teṣāṁ bāṣpaṁ netreṣv ajāyata
tathā bruvati kākutsthe kumārāṇāṁ yaśasvinām
tataḥ bahu-guṇam = even more; teṣām = in their midst; bāṣpam netreṣu ajāyata = shed tears from Their eyes; tathā = thus; bruvati = spoke; kākutsthe = when the descendant of Kakutstha; kumārāṇām = princes; yaśasvinām = those illustrious.
Those illustrious princes shed even more tears from Their eyes when the descendant of Kakutstha spoke in their midst thus.
