Chapter 102: Rāma Performs Śrāddha for King Daśaratha
Text 2.102.36
अथ वासान्परित्यज्य तं सर्वेऽभिमुखाः स्वनम्।
अप्येकमनसो जग्मुर्यथास्थानं प्रधाविताः॥
atha vāsān parityajya taṁ sarve ’bhimukhāḥ svanam
apy eka-manaso jagmur yathā-sthānaṁ pradhāvitāḥ
atha = then; vāsān = their camps; parityajya = left; tam = that; sarve = all of them; abhimukhāḥ = and headed towards; svanam api = the source of sound; eka-manasaḥ = with a single focus; jagmuḥ = they went; yathā-sthānam = to that particular spot; pradhāvitāḥ = hurriedly.
All of them then left their camps and headed towards the source of that sound. With a single focus, they hurriedly went to that particular spot.
