Chapter 102: Rāma Performs Śrāddha for King Daśaratha
Text 2.102.45
ततस्तं पुरुषव्याघ्रं यशस्विनमरिंदमम्।
आसीनं स्थण्डिले रामं ददर्श सहसा जनः॥
tatas taṁ puruṣa-vyāghraṁ yaśasvinam arindamam
āsīnaṁ sthaṇḍile rāmaṁ dadarśa sahasā janaḥ
tataḥ = then; tam puruṣa-vyāghram = the Prince; yaśasvinam = illustrious; arindamam = the subduer of enemies; āsīnam = sitting; sthaṇḍile = on the ground; rāmam = Rāma; dadarśa = saw; sahasā = quickly; janaḥ = the men.
The men then quickly saw the illustrious Prince Rāma, the subduer of enemies, sitting on the ground.
