Chapter 102: Rāma Performs Śrāddha for King Daśaratha

विगर्हमाणः कैकेयीं सहितो मन्थरामपि।
अभिगम्य जनो रामं बाष्पपूर्णमुखोऽभवत्॥
vigarhamāṇaḥ kaikeyīṁ sahito mantharām api
abhigamya jano rāmaṁ bāṣpa-pūrṇa-mukho ’bhavat
vigarhamāṇaḥ = criticizing; kaikeyīm = Kaikeyī; sahitaḥ = among themselves; mantharām api = and Mantharā; abhigamya = approached; janaḥ = the people; rāmam = Rāma; bāṣpa-pūrṇa-mukhaḥ abhavat = their faces were full of the tears [from their eyes].
Criticizing Kaikeyī and Mantharā among themselves, the people approached Rāma and their faces were full of the tears [from their eyes].1
1 They were distressed upon seeing the Lord’s distress.
