Chapter 106: Bharata Persists in His Request
Text 2.106.28

ऋणानि त्रीण्यपाकुर्वन्दुर्हृदः साधु निर्दहन्।
सुहृदस्तर्पयन्कामैस्त्वमेवात्रानुशाधि माम्॥

ṛṇāni trīṇy apākurvan durhṛdaḥ sādhu nirdahan
suhṛdas tarpayan kāmais tvam evātrānuśādhi mām

ṛṇāni = debts; trīṇi = three; apākurvan = while clearing Your; durhṛdaḥ = Your ill-wishers; sādhu = properly; nirdahan = burning up; suhṛdaḥ = Your well-wishers; tarpayan = and satisfying; kāmaiḥ = with objects of enjoyment; tvam eva atra = there in Ayodhyā; anuśādhi = govern; mām = Me.

While properly clearing Your three debts, burning up Your ill-wishers and satisfying Your well-wishers with objects of enjoyment, govern Me there in Ayodhyā.

Here Bharata strongly encourages Rāma to accept the kingdom.
