Text 2.109.11
ऋषयश्चैव देवाश्च सत्यमेव हि मेनिरे।
सत्यवादी हि लोकेऽस्मिन्परमं गच्छति क्षयम्॥
ṛṣayaś caiva devāś ca satyam eva hi menire
satya-vādī hi loke ’smin paramaṁ gacchati kṣayam
ṛṣayaḥ ca eva = the sages; devāḥ = devas; ca = and; satyam eva hi = truthfulness as the highest principle; menire = have only accepted; satya-vādī hi = the one who speaks the truth; loke = world; asmin = in this; paramam = highest; gacchati = attains; kṣayam = abode 1.
The sages and devas have only accepted truthfulness as the highest principle. In this world, the one who speaks the truth attains the highest abode.1
