प्रत्यगात्ममिमं धर्मं सत्यं पश्याम्यहं स्वयम्।
भारः सत्पुरुषाचीर्णस्तदर्थमभिमन्यते॥
pratyag-ātmam imaṁ dharmaṁ satyaṁ paśyāmy ahaṁ svayam
bhāraḥ sat-puruṣācīrṇas tad-artham abhimanyate
pratyak-ātmam = to be a part of My very self; imam = this; dharmam = dharma; satyam = of truthfulness; paśyāmi = see; aham = I; svayam = personally; bhāraḥ = the burden of matting the hair, wearing clothes of bark and so on; sat-puruṣa-ācīrṇaḥ = has been accepted by saintly persons; tat-artham = for the sake of [maintaining] truthfulness; abhimanyate = is accepted.
I personally see this dharma of truthfulness to be a part of My very self. The burden of matting the hair, wearing clothes of bark and so on has been accepted by saintly persons and is accepted for the sake of [maintaining] truthfulness.
