Chapter 11: Kaikeyī Demands two Boons

प्रतिज्ञां प्रतिजानीष्व यदि त्वं कर्तुमिच्छसि।
अथ तद्व्यावहरिष्यामि यदभिप्रार्थितं मया॥
pratijñāṁ pratijānīṣva yadi tvaṁ kartum icchasi
atha tad vyāvahariṣyāmi yad abhiprārthitaṁ mayā
pratijñām pratijānīṣva = promise me [that you will do what I want]; yadi = if; tvam = you; kartum icchasi = so desire; atha = then; tat1 vyāvahariṣyāmi = I will proceed [to disclose]; yat = what; abhiprārthitam = long for; mayā = I.
If you so desire, promise me [that you will do what I want]. Then I will proceed [to disclose] what I long for.
