Chapter 20: Rāma Kills the Fourteen Rākṣasas
Text 3.20.15
एहि बाहुप्रयुक्तैर्नः परिधैः शूलपट्टिशैः।
प्राणांस्त्यक्ष्यसि वीर्यं च धनुश्च करपीडितम्॥
ehi bāhu-prayuktair naḥ parighaiḥ śūla-paṭṭiśaiḥ
prāṇāṁs tyakṣyasi vīryaṁ ca dhanuś ca kara-pīḍitam
ehi = come; bāhu-prayuktaiḥ naḥ = thrown from our arms; parighaiḥ = because of the parigha maces; śūla-paṭṭiśaiḥ = spears and paṭṭiśa swords; prāṇān = Your life-airs; tyakṣyasi = You will give up; vīryam ca = prowess; dhanuḥ = the bow; ca = and; kara-pīḍitam = tightly held by Your hand.
Come! You will give up Your life-airs, prowess and the bow tightly held by Your hand because of the parigha maces, spears and paṭṭiśa swords thrown from our arms.
