Chapter 24: Lord Rāma Prepares to Fight With Khara’s Army
Text 3.24.3
इमान्पश्य महाबाहो सर्वभूतापहारिणः।
समुत्थितान्महोत्पातान्संहर्तुं सर्वराक्षसान्॥
imān paśya mahā-bāho sarva-bhūtāpahāriṇaḥ
samutthitān mahotpātān saṁhartuṁ sarva-rākṣasān
imān = these omens; paśya = look; mahā-bāho = O mighty-armed one; sarva-bhūta-apahāriṇaḥ = indicating the destruction of all creatures; samutthitān = have risen; mahā-utpātān = at the great disturbances; saṁhartum = to destroy; sarva-rākṣasān = all the rākṣasas.
O mighty-armed one, look at the great disturbances indicating the destruction of all creatures. These omens have risen to destroy all the rākṣasas!
“All creatures” factually refers to “all the rākṣasas.”
