Chapter 24: Lord Rāma Prepares to Fight With Khara’s Army
Text 3.24.20
ऋषयश्च महात्मानो लोके ब्रह्मर्षिसत्तमाः।
समेत्य चोचुः सहिता अन्योन्यं पुण्यकर्मणः॥
ṛṣayaś ca mahātmāno loke brahmarṣi-sattamāḥ
sametya cocuḥ sahitā anyonyaṁ puṇya-karmaṇaḥ
ṛṣayaḥ = sages; ca = and; mahā-ātmānaḥ = great souls; loke = in the three worlds; brahmarṣi-sattamāḥ = the best of the brahmarṣis such as Bhṛgu; sametya = assembled; ca = and; ūcuḥ = spoke [as follows]; sahitāḥ = well-wishing; anyonyam = to each other; puṇya-karmaṇaḥ = whose deeds were pious.
Well-wishing sages, great souls in the three worlds and the best of the brahmarṣis such as Bhṛgu whose deeds were pious assembled and spoke to each other [as follows].
