Chapter 25: Śrī Rāma’s Battle with Khara’s Army
Text 3.25.7
ततस्तं भीमधन्वानं क्रुद्धाः सर्वे निशाचराः।
रामं नानाविधैः शस्त्रैरभ्यवर्षन्त दुर्जयम्॥
tatas taṁ bhīma-dhanvānaṁ kruddhāḥ sarve niśācarāḥ
rāmaṁ nānā-vidhaiḥ śastrair abhyavarṣanta durjayam
tataḥ = then; tam = the; bhīma-dhanvānam = and terrifying archer; kruddhāḥ = of the angry; sarve = all; niśācarāḥ = night-rangers; rāmam = onto Rāma; nānā-vidhaiḥ = several varieties; śastraiḥ = of weapons; abhyavarṣanta = showered; durjayam = invincible.
Then all of the angry night-rangers showered several varieties of weapons onto Rāma, the invincible and terrifying archer.
