Chapter 25: Śrī Rāma’s Battle with Khara’s Army
Text 3.25.10
ते रामे शरवर्षाणि व्यसृजन्रक्षसां गणाः।
शैलेन्द्रमिव धाराभिर्वर्षमाणा वलाहकाः॥
te rāme śara-varṣāṇi vyasṛjan rakṣasām gaṇāḥ
śailendram iva dhārābhir varṣamāṇā valāhakāḥ
te1 rāme = at Rāma; śara-varṣāṇi = hundreds of arrows; vyasṛjan = showered; rakṣasām = of rākṣasas; gaṇāḥ = hordes; śaila-indram = on the king of mountains; iva = like; dhārābhiḥ = showers of rain; varṣamāṇāḥ = pouring down; valāhakāḥ = clouds.
Hordes of rākṣasas showered hundreds of arrows at Rāma like clouds pouring down showers of rain on the king of mountains.

The comparison here points out that Lord Rāma didn’t experience any distress.
