Chapter 25: Śrī Rāma’s Battle with Khara’s Army
Text 3.25.26
केचिद्भीमबलाः शूराः शूलान्खड्गान्परश्वधान्।
रामस्याभिमुखं गत्वा चिक्षिपुः परमायुधान् ॥
kecid bhīma-balāḥ śūrāḥ śūlān khaḍgān paraśvadhān
rāmasyābhimukhaṁ gatvā cikṣipuḥ paramāyudhān
kecit = some; bhīma-balāḥ = of fierce power; śūrāḥ = heroes; śūlān = spears; khaḍgān = swords; paraśvadhān = and axes; rāmasya = of Rāmacandra; abhimukham = in front; gatvā = went; cikṣipuḥ = and threw at Him; parama-āyudhān = powerful weapons.
Some heroes of fierce power went in front of Rāmacandra and threw powerful weapons—spears, swords and axes—at Him.
