Chapter 25: Śrī Rāma’s Battle with Khara’s Army
Text 3.25.31
निवृत्तास्तु पुनः सर्वे दूषणाश्रय॑निर्भयाः।
राममेवाभ्यधावन्त सालतालशिलायुधाः॥
nivṛttās tu punaḥ sarve dūṣaṇāśraya-nirbhayāḥ
rāmam evābhyadhāvanta sāla-tāla-śilāyudhāḥ
nivṛttāḥ = had stopped from fighting; tu = but; punaḥ = and again; sarve = all of them; dūṣaṇa-āśraya-nirbhayāḥ = they [now] became fearless because of Dūṣaṇa, their shelter; rāmam eva = of Śrī Rāma; abhyadhāvanta = they came in front; sāla-tāla-śilā-āyudhāḥ = using sāla and tāla trees as well as stones as their weapons.
All of them had stopped fighting but they [now] became fearless because of Dūṣaṇa, their shelter. They again came in front of Śrī Rāma, using sāla and tāla trees as well as stones as their weapons.
[These rākṣasas] used sāla and tāla trees as well as stones as their weapons because most of their weapons had been destroyed [by Lord Rāma].
