सोष्णीषैरुत्तमाङ्गैश्च साङ्गदैर्बाहुभिस्तथा।

विच्छिन्नैः समरे भूमिर्विकीर्णाभूद्भयङ्करा॥

It was strewn with heads with and without helmets, arms with bracelets, cut thighs and knees with a variety of ornaments, several horses, excellent elephants and chariots that had been broken up, several kinds of cāmaras and other types of fans, umbrellas and flags cut by Rāma’s arrows, a variety of lances, paṭṭiśa weapons, swords that had been broken up, fragmented prāsa weapons and hatchets, powdered stones and several colorful arrows that had been cut in the battle.
