Chapter 25: Śrī Rāma’s Battle with Khara’s Army
Text 3.25.47

तान्दृष्ट्वा निहतान्सर्वे राक्षसाः परमातुराः।
न तत्र चलितुं शक्ता रामं परपुरंजयम्॥

tān dṛṣṭvā nihatān sarve rākṣasāḥ parama-āturāḥ
na tatra calituṁ śaktā rāmaṁ para-purañjayam

tān = them; dṛṣṭvā = upon seeing; nihatān = destroyed; sarve = all; rākṣasāḥ = of the [remaining] rākṣasas; parama-āturāḥ = became extremely anguished; na = not; tatra = there; calitum śaktāḥ = they could go in front of; rāmam = Śrī Rāmacandra; para-purañjayam = the conqueror of His enemies’ cities.

Upon seeing them destroyed, all of the [remaining] rākṣasas there became extremely anguished. They could not go in front of Śrī Rāmacandra, the conqueror of His enemies’ cities.1
