Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 30: Khara Destroyed
Text 3.30.6
अद्य ते छिन्नकण्ठस्य फेनबुद्बुदभूषितम्।
विदारितस्य मद्बाणैर्मही पास्यति शोणितम्॥
adya te chinna-kaṇṭhasya phena-budbuda-bhūṣitam
vidāritasya mad-bāṇair mahī pāsyati śoṇitam
adya = today; te = your; chinna-kaṇṭhasya = when your throat is pierced; phena-budbuda-bhūṣitam = that will be decorated with foam and bubbles; vidāritasya = and your stomach is torn apart; mat-bāṇaiḥ = by My arrows; mahī = the earth; pāsyati = will drink; śoṇitam = blood.
Today, when your throat is pierced and your stomach is torn apart by My arrows, the earth will drink your blood that will be decorated with foam and bubbles.
That [Khara’s] blood will be decorated [with foam and bubbles] indicates that it will be fresh.
