Chapter 35: Rāvaṇa Goes to Meet Mārīca Again
Text 3.35.34
अयोजालानि निर्मथ्य भित्त्वा रत्नमयं गृहम्।
महेन्द्रभवनाद्गुप्तमाजहारामृतं ततः॥
ayo-jālāni nirmathya bhittvā ratnamayaṁ gṛham
mahendra-bhavanād guptam ājahārāmṛtaṁ tataḥ
ayaḥ-jālāni = the iron lattice; nirmathya = he crushed; bhittvā = broke through; ratnamayam = the jeweled; gṛham = room; mahā-indra-bhavanāt = from the great Indra’s palace; guptam = the protected; ājahāra = stole; amṛtam = celestial nectar; tataḥ = and then.
He crushed the iron lattice, broke through the jeweled room and then stole the protected celestial nectar from the great Indra’s palace.
