Chapter 52: Rāvaṇa Again Abducts Sītā

न वाति मारुतस्तत्र निष्प्रभोऽभूद्दिवाकरः।।
na vāti mārutas tatra niṣprabho ’bhūd divākaraḥ
na = did not; vāti = blow; mārutaḥ = the wind; tatra = at that moment; niṣprabhaḥ = devoid of its luster; abhūt = became; divākaraḥ = [and] the sun.
The wind did not blow at that moment [and] the sun became devoid of its luster.
