Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 63: Rāma’s Pain of Separation from Sītā
Text 3.62.6

sarvaṁ tu duḥkhaṁ mama lakṣmaṇedaṁ
śāntaṁ śarīre vanam etya śūnyam
sītā-viyogāt punar apy udīrṇaṁ
kāṣṭhair ivāgniḥ sahasā pradīptaḥ

sarvam tu = all; duḥkham = distresses; mama = My; lakṣmaṇa = Lakṣmaṇa; idam = of these; śāntam = were suppressed; śarīre = in body; vanam = to [this] forest; etya = when I came; śūnyam = empty; sītā-viyogāt = [but] in separation from Sītā; punar api = once again; udīrṇam = they have increased; kāṣṭhaiḥ = by means of firewood; iva = like; agniḥ = fire; sahasā = suddenly; pradīptaḥ = that has been set ablaze.

Lakṣmaṇa, all of these distresses were suppressed in My body when I came to [this] empty forest [but] in separation from Sītā, they have increased once again like fire that has been suddenly set ablaze by means of firewood.

“All of these distresses were suppressed in My body” means “I forgot about them because of My bodily pain.”
