तच्छ्लक्ष्णसुव्यक्तमृदुप्रलापं तस्या मुखं कुञ्चितकेशभारम्।
रक्षोवशं नूनमुपागताया न भ्राजते राहुमुखे यथेन्दुः॥
tac chlakṣṇa-suvyakta-mṛdu-pralāpaṁ
tasyā mukhaṁ kuñcita-keśa-bhāram
rakṣo-vaśaṁ nūnam upāgatāyā
na bhrājate rāhu-mukhe yathenduḥ
tat = that; ślakṣṇa-suvyakta-mṛdu-pralāpam = spoke sweetly, expressively and gently; tasyāḥ = of hers; mukham = face; kuñcita-keśa-bhāram = it was bent due to the weight of her hair; rakṣaḥ-vaśam = under the control of the rākṣasas; nūnam = certainly; upāgatāyāḥ = when she comes; na bhrājate = it wouldn’t shine [any more]; rāhu-mukhe = in the mouth of Rāhu; yathā = like; induḥ = the moon.
That face of hers spoke sweetly, expressively and gently. It was bent due to the weight of her hair. When she comes under the control of the rākṣasas, it certainly wouldn’t shine [any more], like the moon in the mouth of Rāhu.
