Chapter 70: The Fall of Kabandha
Text 3.70.4
त्वां च मां च पुरा तूर्णमादत्ते राक्षसाधमः।
तस्मादसिभ्यामस्याशु बाहू छिन्दावहै गुरू॥
tvāṁ ca māṁ ca purā tūrṇam ādatte rākṣasādhamaḥ
tasmād asibhyām asyāśu bāhū chindāvahai gurū
tvām ca = You; mām = Me; ca = and; purā = before; tūrṇam ādatte = gobbles up; rākṣasa-adhamaḥ = the lowest of the rākṣasas; tasmāt1 asibhyām = with Our swords; asya = his; āśu = quickly; bāhū = arms; chindāvahai = let Us cut off; gurū = huge.
Before the lowest of the rākṣasas gobbles You and Me up, let Us quickly cut off his huge arms with Our swords.
