Text 3.75.3

दृष्टोऽयमाश्रमः सौम्य बह्वाश्चर्यः कृतात्मनाम्।
विश्वस्तमृगशार्दूलो नानाविहगसेवितः॥

dṛṣṭo ’yam āśramaḥ saumya bahv-āścaryaḥ kṛtātmanām
viśvasta-mṛga-śārdūlo nānā-vihaga-sevitaḥ

dṛṣṭaḥ = We have seen; ayam = this; āśramaḥ = āśrama; saumya = gentle one; bahu-āścaryaḥ = it is filled with many wonders; kṛta-ātmanām = of those who meditated on the Supreme Soul; viśvasta-mṛga-śārdūlaḥ = the deer and tigers here trust each other; nānā-vihaga-sevitaḥ = and many birds resort to it.

Gentle one, We have seen this āśrama of those who meditated on the Supreme Soul.1 It is filled with many wonders. The deer and tigers here trust each other and many birds resort to it.

The āśrama was filled with many wonders: it was prosperous with very astonishing flowers, fruits and so on, and all sacred water bodies had arrived there. The deer and tigers in that āśrama trusted each other, that is, they were devoid of mutual animosity.

1 Technical note: kṛtātmanām pariśīlita-paramātmanām.
